Have you got to the end of 2020 and you still aren't any closer to reaching your goals in either business or in your health?
Well, I want to help you? For a long time, I always tried to figure everything out for myself, I never invested in coaching. I never invested in learning. I never invested in ME! I would spend more time going round and round in circles trying to figure everything out without getting any support rather than having a clear focus and a plan as what to do to move closer to my goals. I was frozen with fear of making mistakes.
So, what changed?
I invested in a coach? I got help from someone who was further ahead than me, who was doing what I wanted to do and who had the knowledge to get me to the next step and who could advise and provide me with actionable steps so I didn't feel like I was always going round in circles.
From that moment on, I realised how important it was to have a guide.
Someone who could show me the way.
Staff morale is at an all time low.
Physical and mental health issues are on the rise.
Stress levels are at an all time high.
This is the result many organisations are facing in light of COVID-19. Companies need a plan to combat this - and, quickly.
So, how exactly do you go about this?
The first step is by supporting your employees’ physical, mental, and emotional health. Investing in one’s health is more important than ever before and your organisation should be investing in the health of your employees if you want to maintain the health of your bottom line.
You can do this by creating a dedicated health and wellness plan for your employees that promotes activities that will keep them physically healthy, improve their mood, and keep them engaged - all from the comfort and safety of their home. This could include:
You are currently navigating uncharted waters.
The working day has changed.
Where your employees log-in to their computer from has changed.
How your teams communicate and collaborate has changed.
Everyone huddled around a water cooler or chatting in the kitchen together making a drink has changed.
And, for how long - we have no idea.
We’ve known for a long time that wellness programming is critical to helping keep employees happy and healthy. But, what are you to do now that employees can’t even come to the office? How can you encourage your employees to be active while staying safe?
Looking ahead, more and more employers are recognising the benefits of flexible work arrangements and this includes rethinking how they deliver wellness programming. At The Dance Club at Home, we know firsthand that it is possible to continue to create a healthy - and fun - corporate culture even when employees are working from home. You just need to get a...
At the moment you may be feeling completely overwhelmed. Life, work and family commitments may all seem to be getting on top of you right now
You're trying to manage getting your work done in the kitchen, whilst home schooling your children, taking the dog for a walk, getting your exercise in, doing that zoom meeting with the office and you are just feeling totally stressed and overwhelmed.
I want to give you 5 tips that I use to help me when i'm feeling overwhelmed so you can feel better and happier. So lets get down to it.
Number 1 - It may sound silly but "know your purpose".
Know your vision, your goals, and your plans because these help you set priorities. Each day, identify the task you must accomplish and make that your top priority. Also, set aside time to invest in your future, working on important things that you will need later. If you have yet to write out your priorities, then take time to do this. It could be the most important hour that you spend in your...
How many times have you looked in the mirror and seen something you don’t like? I have lost count of the amount of times I have found something I don't like when I look in the mirror. It happens to the best of us, we get caught up in what we ‘should’ look like. Thighs are too flabby and too big, hair is too straight, feet are too big, boobs are too small… the list could go on, and for many of us that is all we focus on....everything we "don't like" or "hate" about ourselves which destroys our confidence and stops us from achieving more and reaching for more.
The question is, are you loving who you are and ready to further improve yourself, or are you getting caught in the old “I’ll be happy when i've…”?
“I’ll be happy when I weigh only X kg”,
“I’ll be happy when I get a boob job”,
I’ll be happy when I have this or that done”.
The truth is that happiness isn’t a place,...
This may sound strange as for years, I am sure you have been looking to have more balance in your life.
If you're anything like me, you have have been striving for balance like I had for years but never actually achieved it so as a result you end up feeling guilty for being off balance.
I promised myself a few years that I would strive to learn more so that I could be more and live more and what I realised about balance is that it shouldn't be what we are looking for.
I'm asking you to consider becoming off balance on purpose. Now stay with me on this one as when I was first introduced to this theory, I was of a mindset and in a place were I was always thinking that I needed to strive for more balance. After hearing a talk about off balance on purpose it really helped me to change my thinking.
So let's get down to it.
Balance vs Off Balance
Stagnance vs Growth and action
Sameness vs Change
Protecting what is imaginary /unrealistic vs our real natural...
Usually it is pain that will be the reason why people make changes. For example, not being able to fasten your jeans may make you realise you need to get your good habits back on track or it could be getting bad results in a test makes you realise you need to study more. Being in debt may force you to take action to create your own income so you are not reliant on others to decide your income. Being humiliated in work may give you the push to speak up more or to work on your mindset so you can fight back confidently and save face from the next embarrassing moment. It may be your closest friend or family's tragic experience that makes you change what you are doing right now or it could be something like a film or book that gives you that drive and motivation you need to improve yourself.
If you look around, there will always be people trying to pull you down and waiting for you to fail. It could be your closest family members or people on...

If you're looking to make the most of your weight loss program, finding the most effective ways to burn fat will maximise your results and reduce your waistline!
Follow these 8 killer tips for fat burning if you want to lose weight and lead a healthier way of life.
1. Drink More Water
One of the best weight loss secrets is to stick to water! Are you drinking much water right now? If the answer is no, then this could be impacting your weight loss goals. Experts say you should drink approximately eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated and healthy. Instead of turning to calorie-filled or sugar-rich drinks, grab a glass of water. I talk about water regularly in my challenge groups and how important it is for the body. Don't underestimate the power of drinking plenty of water every day. Drink a glass of water 20 minutes before each meal too and this will help you to feel fuller and as a result eat smaller portions and reduce your calorie intake.
2. Work Out...
As mums, time management can be a big issue as we have so much going on in our life. Feeding the kids, sorting out the house, taking the dog for a walk, washing up, ironing, gardening, school activities, clearing up the milk that your daughter decided to spill across the kitchen floor and which seems to have found it's way into every corner of the units...the list is endless! And that is before we even look at doing work on our businesses, making time to be with the husband and getting a shower! Yes have you noticed that sometimes you are that busy you don't have time to even shower!
If you want to get the best out of your life, feel less stressed and happier then good time management will help you massively and good time management will help you feel in control of your day. Poor time management on the other hand will leave you feeling stressed, chasing your tail and feeling miserable.
If you always feel rushed and you feel you can’t get anything completed during the day...
